Black Interior Question

Hey guys,

So I recently picked up an 04 FX35 w Ivory White paint. I picked it up for a great price and the low milage on the car, but the only problem I had with the car was the gray leather interior. My question is would it be cheaper to buy the black leather interior or have the interior reupholstered to black leather. I've been searching for people who are selling their black leather interior but I cant find a single person who would want to. If anyone wants to swap interiors let me know haha. Thanks in advance guys.

The wheat interior seems to be least desirable one and I seriously doubt you will find anyone willing to trade. You can possibly look into junk yards for them or keep a look out on ebay for those rare for sale auctions. But black interior is the most common so you will probably locate one.
 
Thanks for the speedy reply! Yeah, I went down to my local junkyard today and managed to find a fx with black leather interior, but the only problem was that there were tears and scuffs all over the left side. But I did manage to find the dark tan that I was also eyeing, so I might end up picking them up. Thanks again!
 
Nice find, but by dark tan I'm sure you mean the brick color interior as there were no dark tan interior colors for the 03-05 model years. The only choices were, wheat, graphite and brick. Nice pick-up either way.

Java anyone?

Speaking of interior colors - Does anyone have an opinion on the way Infiniti offers the Java option in the 2009 model? Specifically, do you think the carpet and dash areas should have been left in the black/graphite color? I am not sure the brown/java color works throughout the cabin, or as well if it had just been applied to the seats.

How did Infiniti offer Java from 2006-08? Just the seats, right?

Thoughts?

(of course, I chose Java for my '09 FX35)
