Black FX50s - Exterior Ideas

Yeah JD is right lol.

The first bodyshop I forgot the name of it that painted my grille charged me $80. But when my whole car was repainted at Martino Auto Concepts they repainted the grille over. They are extremely expensive because of their skill and the type of cars they work on. Last time I was there they had a few Lambo's and just some other crazy exotics. I'm sure a grille repaint there is around $300. My whole car cost $21,000 to repaint there.

yeah man, I was gonna say that any shop that did it right could never do the whole thing for $80. closer to $300 is more like it for really doing it right, which is why I've only done very few. I even feel bad telling someone how much it will cost :) all comes down to labor and materials... def takes a few hours and some materials to do

25mm wheels spacers at all four corners really increases the stand of the 50. I have the stock 21's and it looks way more aggressive!

I'm very interested in your spacer install Roadracer. Which spacers did you purchase? How long have you had them installed? Any issues?

I'm looking to install a set on my FX50s as well, but probably 15mm all around (or 15mm front and slightly more in back, but definitely under 20).

If you have time could you take a couple shots from the back maybe low, med, high and close/far? Really interested in seeing the lines from the 25mm spacers.

Looks great!

Thanks!

Martino auto concepts in glen cove

I used to live in Sea Cliff! Seeing Glen Cove brings back memories. I was in the corner apartment in the large brick brownstone at the end of main street. I remember watching the "big ships" when they were docked in the Cove. :)

I have Ichiba spacers and have had no issues. I spray painted them flat black and they match the rotor hats almost perfectly. I have had them on for about 8 months. It snowed like crazy and its hard to get pics of my car, but here are some I just took in a fairly dark garage (Sorry.....not great shots). You can also check photos I posted after my install a few months back.

What's a little snow! :D Thanks for the shots RR. If you get a chance to take a couple from directly behind, maybe middle and one side, that would be awesome. Just trying to gauge from the spacer size you have what the spacing will look like. Those shots definitely helped.

Also, you mentioned in the thread that you have 25mm in the back? I looked up on one site and it seems that the widest they make is 20mm, but maybe they aren't up to date.

Thanks!

This is where I got my spacers from, good quality spacers. I have a set for my 24's that they custom made hubcentic to the factory hub and the aftermarket rims. I also had them make a set for the stock rims when I switch back to them in the winter. I had to get a set of spacers for the stock rims because I extended the stock lugs to make the aftermarket rims I wanted work with the bigger front calipers on the 50. By the way I think the person I spoke to was John and they fabricated them fairly quick, they fit perfect.

Yeah....this snow is new for this born and raised So Cal boy. Been here just over a year, but its all good! Their site is not updated because these are for sure 25mm. I researched the heck out of this as I do anything with wheels, offset, tire size, etc. I will get some shots when I can......more snow tonight and my car is filthy now after today. I will get those to you just as soon as I can get a shot that will accent what you are looking for and not snow and icicles all over my car ;)
