Dang man, car is looking niiice :) OP when u said u cut d springs, did u cut jst d front or the rear as well and how much did u cut off. Thanks in advance!
 
I cut the lowering springs (H&R) to be even lower. There is a thread on here somewhere about other members doing it.
The hid reverse lights are holding up very very well. No issues what so ever.
 
Can you post a link on where you got them from?

There's a set for sale in the classified but doesn't seem like the seller wants to reply to his thread.

Love the look of your car. I had a few questions - how much does it typically cost to powdercoat the 20's as I'm looking to do the same. And I noticed that you "cut" the H&R Springs... I have the same springs that I'm looking to install so wondering what this means (pardon my noob ignorance). Thanks
 
I paid 450 to have the wheels powdercoated. I cut half a coil of the bottom of the frint springs and i cut the upper spring bushing in the rear in half to get a lower drop.

John...how did you do the rearview mirror monitor and what brand did you use? I think that's awesome. What functions can you do with it??
 
I purchased an additional camera with IR Nightvision and ran a wire to the rearview monitor. Instead of a regular mirror i see an actual image of people and cars moving. I also ran a rca cable from the mirror to my pioneer radio so i can put movies on the mirror or pictures. You can have a 50/50 split for two cameras or half video and half camera use.

Its pretty funny becuase if your behind me in traffic you can see the mirror. I see people in the mirror pointing and waving to see if its actually them in the mirror lol.

Lol that's awesome!!...what kind of rearview mirror is it and what do they typically cost? How did you run the wires from the trunk to the mirror??

Cool..thx man. I really like this mod....if it's not that hard to install may do that in mine. Always felt it's kinda hard to see out the back of the FX with the stock rearview....due to the slope of the back. This would be a cool solution :)
