Lucky me. New place, not thinking. We lost power on our block, & sump pump not working. No stinkin backup. Had about 2feet of runoff seaping into the garage (3 inches in there). Was about to run to the depot to geta generator, when my neihb offered a power inverter. So here I am trying to get my car to do the work. Good ol FX to the rescue. Power pops on right before I get the whole contraption up, & pump sends the water away. Coulda been worse. I just sqeegeed the water off the floor. I tried to get my computer battery out there, but unfortunately, the dam system ran it dry. Charging now. What a day!

YEAH, they say the big one is getting here today. It's supposed to rain for 6 hours non-stop. Gonna sound like a nice drive home. I can already imagine my FX in boat mode. The streets going to my house are so flooded. Maybe 1 foot to 2 feet in some spots.
