Best security system for FX with Tech?

My friend's car just got stolen out of his work parking lot. Got me thinking I need to upgrade my security system (don't have anything except what came factory). Any ideas? Maybe just add lojack (is there a monthly fee for this?)?

I have the tech package with smart key.
 
I got Lojack from the dealer when I got the car - theres no monthly fees - just a 1 time fee you pay upfront. Helps a lil with the insurance also.....
 
Honestly I dont remember - But I'm guessing about $550.......I tried to look on the website site but they dont list any pricing for it.
 
There are a couple of companies that offer similar products like lowjack. I forget the name but you can check the location of your car on the net too.
 
I got my Lojack for $950. This is the one with early warning. It calls or emails all the phone # and email address you provide if the car moves without the key fob. I even tested it, Lojack called my cell phone, emailed me, called my house phone and my brother cell phone in about 30 secs when I started it without the key fob lojack provided.
 
how about compustar/pager function....? they seem pretty decent I just installed one before leaving Guam. So I guess I'll see how it functions when I have it a lil longer. just hope I never need it tested for real....
