Best place to purchase OEM Aero kit

Haven't seen it sold outside of the dealer. I doubt third party sellers would stock this part.

Go to your local dealership in person and negotiate with them. I was able to get a couple of percent off and saved on the shipping since it was in stock.
 
Is the OEM kit made in China? I just picked up my fx37 last week and am very interested in the oem kit. Surprisingly, I was able to find this kit in china selling for roughly $500usd 4 pcs unpainted. I could probably even get it for $300usd. Im not scamming, just wanted to weigh my options before I go with the expensive $2000usd+kit officially or risk it and try out the kit for $300.

I would never buy a $300 kit, probably a Replica made cheaply. Get the OEM kit
 
The problem is, if the oem kit is in fact made in china, there's a high chance that these are the same material, quality and from the same manufacturer. I see this quite often with products in china, sometimes they are not knockoffs or copies, just the sleazy manufacturer trying to make an extra buck. And for around $300usd unpainted, it does sound reasonable if you add in shipping, storing, painting, and dealer's margin to go from a cost of $300usd to $2000usd.
 
I called in today to try to ask the infiniti dealer and they told me there was no such thing, I told them people bought it from the dealers in their city and he said no im wrong and told me to go look for it on ebay i didnt know what else to say to them

What dealer did you call? That doesn't make sense at all. Call Perry or OC Infiniti in California, they will hook you up.
 
I live in Canada Ontario I called Oakville Infiniti and thats what they told me I will message them soon I saw Perry on ebay is that the same Perry?

Yup it's the same perry, just call them or OC Infiniti
 
My dealer didnt know what it was either that's why I ordered it online lol. If you have the part number that can also make it a lot easier.
 
Guys a little update on the kit. I finally decided to pick up a full oem kit in China (since I work there sometimes) for a little less than $200usd shipped to my factory. The quality of the kit is decent and seems to be consistent with the OEM kit and since I bought this for experimental purposes, I wasn't too optimistic. It comes unpainted and I will have a go and see how the fitment is. The person who sold these kits claim that its from the first mold that the OEM kits used. I usually don't see things in china being copied unless they were originally produced in china which makes me suspect that infiniti had it made there, have it painted their OEM colors and sold for a reasonable margin.

If you are familiar with the site Taobao and can read a bit of chinese, you can just search it and a whole boat load will pop up with different prices ranging from 800rmb-8000rmb. Its unlikely that any of them will ship outside China.

Thats def a replica because the real ones have a rubber/plastic lining around the top of the front lip and the one you have doesn't.

Thanks for the heads up. Is the rubber/plastic lining you mentioned hard and molded perfectly for the front lip? Also would you have the rubber/plastic on when you are to prep and paint the kit? Kinda weird because this part wouldn't be put on until you are to install it on the car? Also are there any other indicators that show this is a replica and by your definition a definite replica? Im curious to know if there are other parts we can compare.

BTW are you talking about this lining? The tied up bundle of rubber molding in the middle of the picture.
