Whats the best ones out there for the buck?

Im not really happy with the tape player lol.
and the cd dont work.

post links to site where i can find some or maybe places that sell them like
best buy and blah blah.

I got the iSimple from Best Buy and had a buddy help me install it. It works good when controlling it from the ipod but the dash controls are garbage for my vehicle. The instructions state my dash controls won't work anyway so I'm not worried. I also have an aftermarket DVD player in my ceiling and the iSimple gave me an extra input for that too. I have no complaints with it.

do you have the rear dvd player[/QUOTE
no i dont. i wish i do tho

hmm i should check bestbuy out than, do you know how much you payed for the iSimple ??

harmon kardon is the one I have, it's pretty good
thats pretty cool  where and how much did you buy yours for ?

I have the iSimple. It's a pain in the ass sometimes. Can't just unplug your iPod/iPhone or you'll have to unplug the whole unit for it to reset again. You have to put it to 'Radio' or turn the radio off first before unplugging. Found out the hard way.. a few times. Plus, it stays charging the iPhone/iPod when the car is off for a few mins.. up to 20, I heard so you can't just leave it plugged in. Yes, radio control is a pita and can't fast forward/backward with the steering wheel. Other than that, it's fine, lol.

$150 I think.

I only use my ipod for the car and I haven't experienced the resetting with unplugging it. Then again I rarely unplug mine and its the old school 30g ipod. I heard that the FXs that have factory satelite radio work much better with the iSimple units. I put up with the little quirks until I can just upgrade the FX. I would love to use it with the dash/steering wheel controls. Oh well...

buy a heaphone to rca cable about $4. plug it into ipod and and rear dvd inputs and hit aux on mode on dvd player. i keep it plugged in and cable by my seat so i can control ipod up front

Im using the ISimple. Works fine for me. You can only control the current playlist that is playing on your iPod from the dash by hitting the "previous/next" track buttons. Other than that, no problems at all.
