Best Intake Kit?

Hi, i got a 05 fx35 a year ago. I am now willing to modify my car a little bit! Since im not an expert on cars, i would like to know which Intake Kit is best for the fx35. I see a lot of you have the Stillen Z-tube. So im open for suggestion! Thanks
 
i got a K&N drop in filter with z tube and works great , exhaust gets a nicer tone , gives u a lil more on acceleration and improves gas mileage. theres a couple different intake systems u can get and they all do about the same to the FX . its mostly up to u witch one u wanna get . but theres not one that really out performs the other by alot .

Alright, because my friend talk about Secret Weapon-R intake (which i really like the look). Anyways, i guess the next step is the Exhaust! Nismo??

i dont have an exhaust yet . but my favorite and the one i am most likely getting is NISMO . theres a couple other ones that r good u could look at like the hks , invidia , stillen . i like how the stillen sounds .
 
Stillen CAI & Z-tube, then the plenum spacer, then the exhaust.

I have the Stillen and love it, but it's heavy & one of the more expensive options. Sounds great tho...

Agreed, or get the Kinetix Plenum instead of the spacer. I have the HKS and love it, I get compliments all the time and can definitely feel the difference. I haven't heard any other aftermarket exhausts in person though so I can't compare. I also love the sound of the nismo from the videos I have heard and was either going to get that or the HKS.

Is the engine cover still going to fit if i install the kinetix plenum??
 
I don't think so, I took my engine cover off my car right away though. I didn't really like a big plastic thing covering my engine. The Kinetix has a nice look IMO. Here's a pic of my engine bay.

You could still get the carbon fiber 350Z engine cover or the JDM (i think) harness cover.
