Hey Koso, I was looking on your site for the slim kit and H8 isn't one of the options

That's Soonster's ride.. it looks like it cuts through rain and fog.. but it's HID. HID 3000k to be exact.

Best I could find, the PIAA and Nokya are both quality bulbs with a year warranty and people seem happy with them. Since the Nokyas are less than have the price of the PIAAs, I installed the Nokya Hyper Yellow halogen bulbs today. I'll check them out tonight and see what I think about them.

Shot from last night. I like the look and they are definitely a little brighter than the OE bulbs (which are Sylvania Long-Life, by the way). Hopefully they are a little better in the rain/fog/snow.

David if I may kindly ask how difficult was it to install the bulbs for the fogs ?? I may look into the same cause I'm also trying to stay away from a hid kit ! TIA :smug:

It took me maybe 30 minutes. I went with removing the belly pan and bitching and cursing and squeezing my hand inside the bumper and around the windshield washer reservoir. I could probably do it again in 20 minutes, but hopefully I won't have to for at least a year!

The stock fogs were totally useless and the color sucked. I figured even if the yellows didn't help, I already knew I liked the look. I had my first trip in a good rainstorm and it was an improvement. Not huge, but an improvement. There isn't a sharp cutoff, so there is some ambient light above the headlight cutoff, but not a ton. I'm happy with them...if the bulbs last.

From what I read, go with Nokya or Luminics. The PIAA aren't very yellow, the Hoens had spotty reviews, and the cheap eBay ones are, well, cheap. :)

Thank you ! I'll try either the Nokya or Luminics and get one of my guy friends to install ....... hopefully they won't bitch and curse too , too much :tongue (2): they have big hands ahem ahem !! Im also thinking of getting fog overlays in yellow so when the fog lights aren't on ....... they still look yellowish. I like that look !

Post a pic of the overlays if you do them. I'd like to see that. Are you aware that there is a tri-state fx club (TSFX)? NEFX is for all the Red Sox fans. Not us.

I've used the luminics on my g35 and loved the look.

Sent from my EVO

How long did the bulbs last for you?

That looks really nice! You did it or did you have a shop do it for you?
