Best compliment rec'd in your FX?

One time I was waiting for my wife @ work and someone complemented my ride and say NICE HYUNDAI.... I almost gave him my middle finger but tried to control myself and just said TY :)
 
Not a compliment, but months ago I saw some people taking a picture of my FX at the Mcdonalds at the rest area station in CT as if I was driving some "never before seen" car lol.
 
I have been in 7-11 getting stuff and have come out a couple of times to people looking at the rims and everything else on the ride. I have also been driving on the 405 south and have had quiet a few people driving next to me, give me the thumbs up! Mostly from other infiniti drivers but also some from other cars. It’s nice to get some infiniti love every once and a while. :smile (2):
 
to be completely honest.....haven't received a compliment yet in person. When I had the Mustang Cobra 1/3 times (not exaggerating) I would fill up on gas, park the car and get out, etc someone would say something....and this wasn't just in Michigan, but just equally in other states.

As far as looks while driving, it's cut by probably 80%...before I had really loud borla exhaust and because it was stick would drive it aggressively and would have the whole block looking or turning heads or watching me the whole street. No aftermarket rims, nothing extra, but looked A LOT. I miss that actually, but wouldn't trade my car right now for anything, but that is slightly disappointing.
 
Most people over there prefer domestic cars, so that probably explains a lot. Come over here to NY and people will constantly be asking about your ride.
 
I always run into an older fella with a black 45 in our community and everytime we cross paths he would point or wave at me. And I'm forced to wave back. It reminds me of the gestures from other motorcycle riders. lol

I can relate, I still have my 00 Mustang GT body kit/borla/bassani xpipe/brembo kit/ssr rims I get more complement than my fx35... :frown:
 
The day I took ours home the neighbor asked if I was a drug dealer, lol. Then a month later she bought an RX330 so I asked her the same question. Then I found out she is a Probation officer...oops:eek:
 
Was driving over cap hill today in Seattle. The light rail dig is going on and a massive d-10 cat pulled out of the site while a cop was flagging for him. As he was turning the corner the guy driving was checking out my ride and he almost drove OVER a car, the cop yelled at him and he pulled it out.......
 
:tup: If he did ran over a car and he told the cop that he was distracted by your ride, do you think the cop going to walk over and hand you a ticket for obstructing traffic? That's a good one Lance.
 
Hah, that would have been interesting.....even more interesting to see him Monster truck over the top of the Passat 10m ft. from me :tongue (2):

haha I got asked the same question when I brought the FX50 back to school for the first time....


and also three times when I got pulled over in Yonkers:err:with my 35
 
So far my FX has inspired 3 people I know to buy one for themself after checking mine out. I guess that's as big a compliment is going to get. One of them kept insisting that mine was an 06 because of my shifter panel mod that I had done and that he was anware of.
