I know you and I have already starting talking about these but I thought I would answer here too.
The HFC reduces some back pressure in the exhaust system - something that helps forced induction cars more than naturally aspirated cars. This mod ultimately will not make more power, but it will increase the rate at which power is put down, i.e. you should see a slight decrease in the time it takes you to reach maximum rpm, especially after a dyno tune.
You should also hear a change in sound, which is just a bonus. This is a mod that isn't a huge return on investment, but if you have already done just about everything else AND it's time to replace the cats anyway... then yeah, it makes sense.
