Benz-0 :: 2006 Mercedes-Benz CLK 350

Nice Adam! I really like the white face gauges. I did look into custom face gauges for the FX. The closest I came to finding were a certain edition Nissan X-terras had white gauges. Didn't you black out your headlights or did I suggest that earlier?

Yeah I'm still looking into gauges for FX. I might end up getting them printed.
My first headlights were backed out, I opened them up, good memory, but then found the quads and I liked the look better. :smile (2):

Cool, hope you find a source for the gauges. The quads look a lot better. I think you should paint those gloss black and leave projectors chrome too.

here is what the first headlights looked like.

Last month I noticed she started getting some sludge/oil in the coolant tank. First too it to a mechanic to have it diagnosed, after getting an estimate of almost $1600 (including labor) I sat down and spent a few days doing all kind of research on the issue. I really didn't think it was a blown head gasket but rather a crack in a seal etc etc. Found a few post of guys with similar issue and one that suggested using the nano gasket sealer. I decided to flush the entire system a few times to get all the crap out. Used the sealer, let it cure over night, flushed it again and surprisingly it took care of the problem. Coolant tank is clean, no sludge, and she runs good. At the same time replaced the serpentine belt, pulleys, air filters, which funny according to the service records were replaced last year, well, they weren't, cabin filter, and degreased the splash guard which had years of spilled oil and what's not on it. Total cost was around $300. Now I call it a good savings :)
