hey i got an 06 fx35 with beige interior
i wore some blue jeans and i did some ink transfer on the leather seats.
does anyone have any good cleaning solutions?

You cannot put just anything on that color, It will absorb just about everything.
Take a damp towel (not wet) with hot water and a small amount face soap.
Rub gently, turning the towel frequently to keep from spreading the ink.
That should work safely. Afterwards you might consider a seat cover.

oh yea face soap is the winner. why havent i thought of that as the cleaning solution for removing transfered jean dye from the leather car seat?

When jeans fade like that is most likely due to a low quality water based ink.
This ink is broke down by moisture such as human sweat.
Water based inks are easily cleaned up with soap.

In your case, the color of your leather is the determining factor as to the strength of the type of soap you use.

It's your choice, but maybe you should avoid jeans made in china and you won't have to figure out how to remove the ink.

Many times it is the simplest of solutions that are the hardest to recognize

your saying that hand soap on a damp towel is going to remove the ink but the stronger cleaners like citrus or a diluted simple green will not work? please explain to me how a stronger cleaning chemical will not work but soap & water will?

please uncover the mystery to removing ink dye so i can pass this along to my fellow detailers.

again, where do you get your misguided information from?
