BC coilovers

thread revival..

as some of u may have read, i posted that someone cut me off and i swerved to avoid them and jumped a short curb and got a blowout on one of my gtr's.. the wheel had bad curb rash and the tire blew out.. i put my stocker 20's on and well now i have loud clunking coming from my left front strut when i go over bumps, potholes, up and down driveways... i re-checked everything to see if anythings loose and everything is fine.. re did preload and checked all bolts up and down and nothing.. possibly blown strut? i sent an email out to BC to see what they say.. They're within warranty still so i should be fine..

For some reason my front pass side was doing that about a week later after I installed them fixed it it's back again. It has to do with the 17mm nut that holds it in place. Keep tightening it up a day later same crap. Learned to deal with it.

As far as my car not sitting leveled I don't know what's going on. It's maxed out all the way with purch removed in the rear. Passenger side is still not sitting as the drivers side I think I blew out my rear pass shock again in a matter of 1 week. Something is up but can't figure it out

Help please. Replaced my rear pass side shock 2 times and 3 days later it blew again. Bc is no help sent them a bunch of pics haven't heard from them. Anyone else having this problem

@Mike, do you see oil leaks from the shock? Have to check out other suspension parts for worn and tired bushing?

At Andy. Yea the strut is leaking nitrogen slowly. The stem that traves up and down has play in it. So know its making like a ping pong ball type of noise. I checked but everything looks straight underneath but was wondering what if I just change my front lower control arm cause the car is not sitting level on the front and rear passengers side and bychanging the arm hopefully it will level out something is wrong on that side and I keep blowing my shock the bump stock is cracked and doesn't have play in it like The other side.

Obviously, before the coilovers, the passenger side is level, right? You sure you install all those rubber bushing and washer in the top mounting cup correctly? Also there is a tap on the top mounting cup. make sure it is facing out (meaning should see the tap with the tire off). The picture shown is for the driver side.

Yea most certain they where installed correctly. The rear pass side strut sitting in right but I think theres too much pressure on it and causing it to not sit right that's why maybe the bump stop don't have no play I'm guessing. Running out of options as to what's causing this. I'll double check to what your referring to but I doubt the install was wrong. Thanks
