BC Coilovers Installed

The coilovers would allow you to keep it at stock height, but play with stiffness to your liking. I would imagine there's a cheaper way to do this though, since you aren't using the coilovers to their fullest it may not be the most economical route.

If you just want a tad stiffer in rear without too much drop, just get H&R's along with new shocks. Coilovers would be a more expensive way to get a similar result. Plus if you were towing a lot, I wonder about the durability of coilovers. Not sure if they were ever designed with that extra load in mind.

I just maxed out the drop on the rears of my BC. Tire tread is tucked under the fender now. I lowered the fronts to match, but those still have much more adjustment left. I also "rolled" the front fenders with a bat. I already lost all of my fender clips/bolts due to rubbing so it was pretty easy. Didn't even have to remove the plastic trim, just pushed down on it while rolling to keep the fender from deforming. Metal is much thinner than in the rear, you couldn't use a fender roller on it. And I took a heat gun and reworked the plastic fender liner some. It was obvious to see where the rubbing was so I just heated it up until it was soft and pushed it up for a little more clearance. Took it over some rough roads today, no rubbing over areas where it used to rub like crazy.

Next step is getting stiffer springs. Tired of running the shocks at max to keep the car from bottoming out.

you will feel the improvement over stock. I still miss my coilover setup.

Heres an idea

I'm still loving your coilover setup. :-)

Like everyone says...you need to pay attention to the rear fenders especially at the 3 and 10 o'clock spots. I rolled the hell out of them and get occasional rubbing on major inclines. Fronts are fine with no mods.

Maxed low rear, lower front...on Megans.
22x9.5 +35 w/25mm spacers. Definitely not hellaflush style.
