BC Coilovers Info & Unboxing (03-08 FX35/FX45)

what is the final review from you ?

I love them, my car rides and handles much better than it did before, I got rid of the huge wheel gap from my small tires. Love the adjustability from the dampening to the raising and lowering. I really can't say anything negative about the experience so far, and am glad that I got the chance to be the unofficial tester. Pete from BC was very helpful with me in figuring out the squeaking, even sent a replacement part in a couple of days from Florida. I have removed, raised, lowered, and adjusted my coilovers many times in the past couple of weeks but it was all worth it (for the DIY's and info). I am sure as more members get these we will be hearing nothing but positive reviews.

these will be much easier for self install because you do not need to mess with any spring compressors or anything, as long as you have the tools it should be pretty easy... actually the fronts will be even easier than the rears which is the opposite of just a spring install...

So is this going to a weekly thing now just because you can do it? One week down 2", next week up 1/2"

What ever happened with the severe angle of the cv joint? Or are you just not going that low?
I have not noticed any ill effects from being extra low, except scraping the splash shield and hitting the mudflaps. The car accelerates, turns, and handles just fine, so I am not sure if the angle of the axles are affecting much....at least not yet. I am probably going to drop it a tad bit more and get an alignment soon to see how much out of spec it is.

okay finally got around to installing these and taking a ride and let me say that this is a complete improvement over the spring set up and the new kyb which I purchase last year the ride is smooth I kept it at the factory setting to see how it would look and I like the front but the back need to come down lower I can get a finger in the front but like i said the back is a little high about the same with the eibachs. Ride is 100% difference better than new. pics will be on tomorrow

Very nice, BC's do ride great....wait till you adjust the dampening settings they can get really soft for those long trips.

BC's are going to be the new "in thing" for our fx's.
