so i finally replaced my original battery, as it died on me after work... i swapped it out but now the backup cam isnt working and everything resets when i turn off the car... my seat memory, a/b trip, heater controls, and even outside temp gauge is freaking out upon starting. i have no clue what to do guys!

its a aaa battery and we checked the book again and it is correct... he did plug in his jumper box to this cord that went to where the obd2 check engine light thing is... he said it was so that the radio and stuff wouldnt loose power...

brilliant didnt think to check there but let me go look and see... is there anyone in particular i should look at or just pull em all one by one..

pull em all to be safe. there are a lot. near the battery and under the steering wheel.

sounds like he did blow a fuse.

did you check all the fuses? possibly with a voltage meter?

I remember one time, dealer tech mentioning, when you replace fx battery, leave the car on.. interesting.. but ive done it without running things went smoothly..

Also try to disconnect the negative for 5-6 hrs, and then connect back...

alright i will try both of those today... thanks man. also how would you replace the battery with the car on?

ok pulled the battery for 6 hours and no change. i am really tempted to see if the dealer will figure it out... do you think it would be under warranty? i have 54k miles...
