Battery Question

My FX was having a sulphur smell and I thought it may be the catalytic converter so I took it to the dealer but they called and said that the battery was leaking and since it is located by the fresh air vent thats where the smell was coming from.They want 169.70 to replace it.Napa has battery for 81.99 so my qustion is how much hassle is it to change out the battery?

Really easy but heavy and the hood tends to get in the way.

Remove plastic fasteners and plastic cover.
Disconnect old battery.
Remove battery holder.
Replace with new battery.
Reverse steps.

Very very easy. Did mine at autozone not too long ago. For the easiest install remove the pass. side lower windshield molding after you remove the battery cover and its housing. Once you remove the clips it just comes right off.
