Hey guys , I have a balance issue with my after market 22" wheels, they balance fine on the machine , but on the car there is a vibration. My oem wheels and tires are smooth as silk. I've balanced and rebalanced, could the mounting lug holes be slightly off since balancing is done via the hub?

Do your wheels have hubcentric rings installed?
Yes they do, wheel shop tried a different set / size with no positive results. They also have tuner bolts.

They should be specific size? Are you sure you got the correct ones? I would go to a different shop. Are wheels new?
3 years old , I would hope they are the right size ! I will double check with the shop again , pretty reputable place

are you sure dose mag wheels after 3 years are not warped from the potholes
They wouldn't balance if they were. Haven't heard the term mag wheels in ages
If lug holes are off, then they wouldn't really line up on the hub. The way the lug holes taper, I'd be surprised if they were off enough to cause issues. Hub centric rings aren't even needed most of the time. They're helpful for mounting but if your lugs are tightened correctly, they center the wheel fine without the hub ring. I've lost the rings before and there never was any impact to ride or weird vibrations.

from past experience my acura add the same problem wheels would balance but when driving at 100 klm per hour the vibration would start, So i purchase 4 new mag wheels used the tires from the old crocked mags and vibration was gone, So next time your fX is up on the garage lift try spinning the wheels and check the inside of rim to see if it still spinning nice and round
