no!!!!!!! thatlkl scratch it!!!

elbow grase and a cloth....and warm water...wand hot air...and bug and tar remover...dont scratch it off be patient!

Credit card works well. Do it in warm sunny weather so the backing is flexy. Debadging should be done early in a car paints life. UV thing

I'm also liking the look with out anything. Looks really clean!

You should do up a 'how to' for this mod.

basically what i did was:

pour hot water on it.
get some floss, not the string type, the other type, and try and get it behind the badge.

now slowly, with a sawing motion, pull slightly down (or up if you start at the bottom). (try not to pull towards you bcuz you could dent the paint)

then with patience, the badge will come off.....

but there will be glue ther!!!!

so get some bug+tar remover and slop it on there and give it a good rub. then, more hot water, then rub, then hair dry set to low for 2 minutes....

repeat those to remove the glue, then after eveyrthing is gone, use some cleaner wax, then some wax, to make sure you protect the area you just uncovered.....

happy debadging!!!

i cant find a pic of it. i wouldn't do that (me perosnally) unless i had alot of nismo stuff in my car already.

but if you like it; it's your fx haha

cool , badgeless is cool.

I have a Nismo exhaust and some Nismo bilng under the hood. so it fits. as for you ... badgeless and clean.
(i'll post a pic of my new badge when I get home)
I was saying you can rebadge to 53X (SEX) since you are single and young . :xd:

i just used my fingers and rubbed it off on a hot day... removed my 04 badge few months ago (summer 08) and i have no visible uv burn... also we used blue tape around the badge to mask the paint and used small screwdriver to pry it off... no dents or scratches but i mighta just been lucky

I have used dental floss before to remove the badge..

I heated mine with a hair dryer, got a library card (knew it would come in handy sometime) and took it off. Then I bought some "Goof Off" at home depot. Used that to take off the adhesive and then waxed it.

This is what I did

Be careful not to pull one edge up and indent the other side into the paint, I almost did this then realized it early enough to where it didn't dig in, so go from all outsides and work inward, don't just go from left to right, right to left, up to down, down to up, top right corner to bottom right corner, bottom left corner to top right... you get the idea :4tongue:
