Bad problem

Just keep a digital camera in your car to take a video of the problem. 400 miles is a lot for a brand new car but that wouldn't be the problem. If you have 10K on it now, it would have shown up a long time ago if the dealers driving it was the cause. I have a 2009 also and it's sitting in the shop (see my other thread). One of the downsides of having a brand new car
 
Wow this sucks....

In order for the dealership to fix this problem, they have to replicate the problem. And with it being so intermittent, good luck. Next time it happens, call Infiniti and have them tow your car back. Since they have to start paying for tows..its more likely they will be more determined to find the problem. Otherwise, they'll just give you back the car, and tell you they can't replicate the problem.

And trying to take out a cell phone to video the problem is not feasible....Imagine you going down the road and the car just shuts off....how likely are you to get out your camera and video tape it....or are you going to try to safely steer the car to a safe place and hope that nobody plows into you.

Sounds like there's a bug with the push button starter....and I doubt the car is giving any type of codes......

The shitty thing is, on top of that, he didnt even fill the tank back. I got with half a tank... lol.

I was thinking mine was a demo car too. When i got the car, it had 200km in it. I asked them, they said they had to drive it from port and then do some test drive if the car is okay. I bought mine on August. I got a $800 discount and only pay $200 Vip package instead of $450 (VIP Package: change oil - air filter - car wash anytime for free FOREVER!) and they gave me discount too for window tinting. I asked around apparently the GTR that came to my dealer had the same milage. So I don't want to tnink about it and there is no problem so far with my car.
 
Hey...i have an '09 FX35 and have the same problem!..it has happened to be about 6 times already and all the dealer tells me is that they can't replicate the problem so there is nothing they can do about it...had any luck?
