Bad engine temperature gauge / sensor

Hi Guys,

Im having an issue that started Yesterday.
A week ago I replaced the thermostat and it was working just fine.
Yesterday the Engine temperature gauge is spiking to the maximum range for short periods of time (2-3mins) and then quickly drops back to normal (50% of gauge).
It goes back to normal after 30 minutes Driving.

If i turn the AC on it goes Up then I shut it down then stay some seconds hight then goes back to Normal.
Same scenario if I Accelerate aggressively as soon i slow down the rev the temp goes normal again.

HELP!

Hmmm, put the old thermostat back in and see if temperature fluctuates?
Or there are air pockets in your system that needs to bleed out.
 
Hi Guys,
The Problem was caused by 2 things.
1. Running out of Oil, the engine only had a 1/4 of Oil ( consumed the other 4 :S in 4 Month. In this time I used Pennzoil Full Synthetic Oil 5W30.
2. the AC Fan motor stopped working, I Replaced the Motor and the Issue is gone.
