they make an Electric Supercharger...that should throw up the red flag instantly

They claim HP Gains for supercharger---Even if their claims are hi wouldn't any forcrd air be an improvement over stock?

read the "up to" part and that can mean anything from 1-17hp

Yea I figured that any claims made were exagerated but 1.3 psi boost wouldn't that equal more HP ?

An electric fan can only generate up to a point. Even if this was useful at the low range, it'll be a huge restriction in your engine once your revs climb higher. The only way to make this useful is to add it to the intake using a separate tube, so that it'll form a Y shape. Plus, don't forget what'll happen if the blades break up. Plastic in the combustion chamber is not a great idea to boost hp really :tongue::smile:
 
the major problem with "fan-based" blowers is that if the fan breaks apart, you'll get the pieces in your engine.
