AWD to RWD?

Hey i was just curious if i could disconnect the power to the two front wheels so i could have my FX as RWD only. this is something id like to do the for the summer when the AWD isn't necessary, although with the added weight from the AWD system i dont know if it will make any performance difference.

from everything I've read, there isn't going to be much advantage to that really, as the transfer case will still rob the power it will rob just by being there...

Hit the Front wheel drivetrain and break it off :)
