Auto Climate Control Question

I have a new QX70S and have a problem with the automatic climate control I think.
When the outside temp is around 75 and the auto button is pushed the floor vents come on with the temp set to 60 degrees and blows cold air until the temp is set above 63 then it starts blowing hot air.
Not sure why it goes to the floor vents when ac is needed also why the air turns hot above 63 or 64 degrees on the temp dial.

I had the wife back it out of the garage this morn and set the temp to 68 and just left it running for about 20 minutes and when she went back out she said it was like a sauna inside.

Hate to take it to the dealer and find out we just don't know how to use the ac lol

My other cars with auto climate control don't work this way, I am wondering if we might have a bad interior temp sensor or we are just not smart enough to figure out how to use it.

Read through that giant user manual just in case it's something simple. Everything is broken apart into sections and it's fairly intuitive to browse. If that doesn't reveal anything just call your Infiniti service department. It's not called a warranty for nothing.

Don't feel too bad, I thought my automatic trunk hatch went bad for two days until I realized that I accidentally disabled it. Doh!

I read through the manual and think I understand it alright, but the car has alot of gizmos to it.
Anyone know where the interior temp sensors are, maybe there is some kind of protective plastic over it or something that they should have taken off on delivery, some of the other plastic was left on.

Wife is going to stop by the dealer after work today and ask them whats up, she is just afraid it will be something simple like you mentioned PEEJ and be embarrassed about it.

We have only had a week and a half.

Wife just called and said it was going in the shop in the morning, they will have a car waiting on her, they said some settings were off in the software, we will see.

Hmmm interesting. Ive actually never tried the auto function. Just been doing it manually

She dropped it off this morn so we will see what they find.
I had remote start installed last wed from a shop the dealer uses, and I be they might have knocked off the hose some folks have mentioned that is connected to the kick panel for some reason or knocked the plug off the sensor, the dealer might charge me to fix it if the installer caused the problem.
I kind of hope that is the problem at least that way I know the car never had a problem to start with.

It's fixed, the installer the dealer took it to for the tinted windows and remote start left the temp sensor wires off.
All good now.
