I finally got to meet someone from the forum. I met Rookie and got to see his FX.
It is a very impressive ride.
On the way home from the show I got stuck behind a Caddy Escalade cruising slowly in the fast lane.
I finally saw a gap in the adjacent lane, dropped it into third and tapped the gas.
I realized he did not want me to pass him. Little did he know it wasn't his option.
After I got around him, he came up on my rear. So I gassed it again. After I settled in to my cruising speed, he made an effort to come alongside me. I was expecting a "salute" but instead he just wanted to give me a thumbs up. I guess he realized his Caddy had just been outclassed.
