All,
I've been lurking on the board for about 8 months, and just purchased an '06 back in June. I haven't posted much, but now I come in need of advice.
This morning, I noticed that my volume level changed by itself while I was driving. It wasn't related to the SSV, because usually when that changes (at least in other cars that I've owned with SSV) you cannot see the volume meter on the screen (it's just a slightly audible difference in sound). The same thing happened when I stopped at a traffic light. It went up a few levels, went down, and went up again.
There are a few variables to consider:
1. I was listening to my iPod (US-Spec interface was professionally installed in July)
2. I had the heat on with the fan set to high (since the dog wanted to hold his head out of the window). This is the first time that I've ever run the fan that high.
3. I turned the fan off, and things were normal, and the problem returned (just for a moment) when I turned the fan back on. However this could be coincidental.
Has anyone had an issue like this? I did a search here and on the .ORG, but I couldn't find any information related to my case.
