great write up, that install looks pro. add that to the never ending list of mods for the summer
man I so want to wrap my mirrors on roof in CF. You did such an awesome job! Everyone I have talked to that has done it says it's impossible because of the mirror shape/bends or you have to cut it and you will have a line. Yours looks perfect!!!!!
Aw thanks! As long as no one is starring at the mirrors from a nose away length they look goodthat's awesome! kudos for taking the initiative to do that. looks like it could be OEM!
Yeah I think I will try the Q5, just need to save up for that oneand just so you know ... it won't go in the cover :ninja:
Let me practice some more before I open a mass production :smile (2):, like turbo said, it will take me 2 or 3 tries before I get it 100% right. The carbon fiber wrap looks even better. Now u just need to start making some and selling them. I bet many I'll jump on them.
Appreciate the extensive write-up. Looks great![/QUOTE)
+1 nicely done and better then i did :wink (2): and may i add that you have to be very carefull to just get enough heat in them to be able to twist them as i lost one in the process and broke........
Once I started there was no going back, plus I'm stubborn that way. But if I was to do it now again, I'd take a different approachstill worth it, just time consuming and definitely for those with a good amount of patience.
