Glad you have an "S" version there. I haven't looked under mine for a while but got to thinking if any part of the RAS (rear active steering) system could get in the way. I would imagine not since there is only one OEM exhaust for both "S" and non-S cars but with designing a new product that may differ a bit you never know. Given you have an "S" it won't be an issue.

Just a couple of questions if you do not mind:

1. What diameter piping will you be using? I am not sure of the stock piping but thinking it may be 2.5'. 3' may be a bit overkill for our application but would probably sound pretty damn mean.
2. Are you planning purely cat-back or will mid-pipes be available with high flow cats?
3. Will there be a polished version available? :smile (2):

Thanks Lerry!

Version 2? Veryyyy nice, I like the sound of that :)

To answer your questions @RAGTPZ

1. We are going to with a 2.5", this exhaust has to be used for the FX35/FX37/FX50 so it has to fit across the board. Going 3" on a V6 is not a good idea and 3" on a V8 would help but not enough due to the VK50
2. The exhaust will be all together cat-back and can not be separated into piece. There will not be a high-flow cat designed for the VK50
3. Right now it is up in the air for finish but even if it is burnt it can be polished off to become a polish

I believe we did get lucky that we got an S version because of the active steering but as of right now the exhaust has a high chance of being on hold unless I get enough interest...can 2nd gen FX owners show me some interest that way I can keep the project going? And yes this will be a version two made to fit all FX35/FX37/FX50. You guys asked and I'm delivering, now please help me back!

I will take one for my 50 when its ready. thanks for the hard work lerry

hey Larry,
I think will be good if it is possible to take some videos when exhaust is ready then people will have some idea how it sounds in FX50

hey the FX on your avatar looks VISCIOUS!!!

haha no high flow cat or straight pipe, just the cat-back, since the 50 has two cats it'll be easy to delete one.

thank you guys! I knew I can count on your guys' support!

Rethinking this after seeing the other thread with FX35 Ark exhaust.

https://www.infinitiscene.com/search/1/?q=20400-Running-w-the-ARKgripExhaust-!!!!!

The tips on that one stick out too far for my liking and when I referred earlier to if there will be a polished version I meant the entire exhaust and not just the tips. I currently have a polished B&B exhaust on my Z32 and with as much as you can see the mufflers, etc on this setup I would prefer it to have a nice shine to it. That would go will with the chrome accents as well.

I am not saying I am no longer interested, I just need to see it installed first which should have been my first inclination anyway. Still looking forward to it. :)
