I don't know. Gunning it all the way home after a long day isn't that bad. :)
 
Stop bragging about your Kakumei. I love it too. You have not ridden in a really broken in Invidia! Since you like how the Kakumei, I would think you will not like the Invidia.

I think it was the microphone quality but it sounds kinda low for an aftermarket exhaust. The take off at 2:35 was the only stretch where it sounded like it was making noise and it looked like you punched it so the RPM's were probably higher than most normal driving. Definitely has a nice deep tone to it. Would definitely like to hear some better sound quality clips.
 
all I have is a GoPro lol

ill do some drive by's tonight. I have the perfect place for them.
and it does have a deep/mean sound to it. I like it a lot. inside the cabin its almost like stock but it really opens up outside.
 
Here's what I'd suggest:

1. Place the camera behind the car about 20 feet or so. Then idle, rev and drive away.
2. Place the camera (with a friend hopefully) along the side of the road for the drive byes.

Looking forward to more videos. Hard to tell from the last video but seems to sound pretty good!

Actually it doesn't sound bad, I just think it's a little too quiet for my liking but I understand why it was made like this. I love the growl my muffler delete has, it sounds so aggressive. I was waiting to see what the ARK sounded like before I decided to try and quiet the drone on my muffler delete and pay for mandrel bends. In person, if it sounds anything like the sound clip that RIPnFX posted of his ARK on the 35, I'm pretty sure there will be a nice market for these. I just need my exhaust to sound as aggressive as it can without sounding obnoxious. When I pull off now people always say "what's that a V8?" and I love the surprised look I always get when I say...... YES!!
 
I think I know what the issue might be. Check to see if your camera has a stereo/5.1 surround switch. Or some other audio type switch. If it's in surround mode it tends to be less directional and that could be why the car sounds so quiet.

Also you'll want to position the camera pointing in the direction the car is going to go and have the car take off from there. Lastly raise the camera higher off the ground and that might help some as well.

Haven't been on in a while, somebody has developed one down here in Oz. It's the adjustable type with a remote, adjustable from standard to full open, not a bad price either. A couple of guys have had it done, I'm waiting to hear it before deciding.

Anybody have any comments on these variable exhausts, I've no experience with them.

I'd think that like anything else it's all in how well it's implemented. My understanding is that the Vettel Edition has a similar system as well.

Reminds me of my Z06. With m mild2wild switch . it opened up the butterfly flaps and really sounds more throaty. I then replaced it with a Borla Stinger system and wow what a difference.

just called ARK and they are coming out with a CAT back for our fx50 in 1 weeks time exited. they are sending me a sound clip I will upload it.
