are the grill for 05 interchangeable with the 06 and up?

my grill has a crack on em
was thinking replacing it with 06 &up grill
is they were interchangeable... thank you
 
If the crack is only on the emblem, you can simply replace the emblem for about $50.
The 06 & up grille will need some light modifications to fit on the 03 - 05.
 
Requires slight modification to the mounting points and then you have to drill it into the bumper (unless you want to fabricate custom mounting points). I have an 05 sport grill that I was going to hang on to but would consider selling it if your interested.
 
does anyone have pic of how the 06 tabs are?
would we be able to use like cable ties? and screws?
or are the sizes also different?
 
yea thank you bklynjohn... i thinkit's vise versa then it wont be easy to fit 06 into 05......
i wish i could kinda see how they looked like atleast so i have an idea.....
by the way how much would the grills run for...?
 
So I'm going to have a used 03-05 grille to sell in the next few weeks. It is being pulled from my dad's '03 FX35 (non-sport). It's used and has a few scuff marks, but not cracked. If you're looking to do a custom grille, you could sand and paint this one. I'll throw some picture up next week, but I'm not going to be asking much for it. PM me if you're interested.
