Anyone service @ Nissan Dealers

Your car at Nissan?
I'm going to do this from now on, and also address any issues I have instead of going to Infiniti Of Coconut Creek.

Any pros/cons of going to Nissan?

Nissan is fine for routine service but they cannot perform warranty repairs to your vehicle. If you are out of warranty and need repairs done they can be less expensive.

I did a major service with Nissan and they did not follow the tech manuals for my FX, instead they were going by something comparable. Missed a few things i.e. did not put enough oil in my FX. If you don't have the time to wait, Infiniti always provided me a loaner, Nissan will give you a rental if you are getting a major service. Infiniti 60K service $1300, Nissan 60K service $867. I have had issues with both, but I have more confidence in Infiniti. Recently I had an issue with my Throttle Body, nothing major so I went to Nissan, about 5 mins from my house, convenient and quick, vice driving 25 miles to the Infiniti Dealer. What I often do is take it to Infiniti for diagnosis, then I will take it to Nissan if the price is much better. I guess I have trust issues....lol.

But the Z uses the same VQ motor so why would there be a mistake in the amount of oil???? Does the Z use less?

But was the Nissan dealership wiling to fix their mistakes?

Sure...oil light on, making a noiise.

Not sure about Z motors, but I don't think Z and the 45 have the same motor. Again like I said they did not use the FX techs manuals to do the job, guy said they used something comparable. I was kinda shocked to hear that...lol. All I can say to anyone is get the diagnosis from infiniti then have nissan do the work to save money, but make sure you check behind them.

I had my tranny fluid exchanged at nissan, not knowing the infiniti dealer was right next to it. the fluid was the same so i didn't have any problem. the price was pretty much the same, but lil cheaper at nissan.
