Anyone Running Falken Ziex STZ04 or STZ01?

+1 drove my stz04s through the hard rain yesterday and confirming that they are pretty dangerous, the FX was slipping out and flying all over. Sucks it's pretty comfortable tire and not too noisy, oh well...

I had the most annoying tire noise that I knew was coming from the Falken Ziex STZ01s on my FX, but also noticed a really bad rubbing noise/vibration at slow speeds/slow turns. It felt like a bad differential almost (yes, it was that annoying), but the dealer insisted that it was because my Falkens were feathered. When I looked at the tires, they looked normal and had a lot of tread left over. To convince me, the took the tires/wheels from another FX they had in the lot and put em on mine. Noise/vibration gone. It was the crappy Falkens.

They sold me a new set of Hankook Ventus AS tires, did an alignment, and no more noise or rubbing/vibration at low speeds. I won't ever buy Falkens again.
 
I recently got new tires (falken stz04s) I have driven them through several rain storms we had in the last couple of months and I find them to be fine.
Just my 2 cents.
 
I had mine mounted a few weeks ago on the gtr wheels. 295/45/20 265/50/20. They look nice but I have seen bad reviews but for the prcie I couldnt pass up. $530 shipped
