it came with usb port, but the ipod interface sucks. If we knew it didn't include aux port, that would have been deal breaker for us LOL.
no one able to add it?

I don't think anyone has figured out how to add aux via USB. I don't know why they took it out for your year. You can always load up all your songs in a USB key/drive. I've got a 32 GB plugged in.

why would they get rid of that? That's how Kim and I watch movies while we travel!!! We play any movie we want from the iPod classic, iPad, etc.

What is there now?

Mine has the iPod aux dock and the RCA plugs built in. But then again I have the rear DVD entertainment package so I'm not sure if those 3 RCA auxillary plugs come with it only.

mostly likely.

dang... anyone know if you can add that rear dvd entertainment package ?
mine just has the basic package.

I don't have the rear dvd entertainment package and yes I have the 3 RCA auxiliary plugs. I Play iPad, iPod movies all the time in the front screen.

I can't blv they got ride of the RCA plugs, that's a big time bummer. I didn't even know the previous years had them

yours is 2009 right? i thought they change it in 2011.

Yes, I have a 2009 and every single package except for the dvd package, but because I feel the dvd package is worthless because:
1. the rear dvd thing is huge, bulky, and very outdated. If anything, you want iPads sitting on the headrests or DVD screens installed (for extreme). iPads work awesome.
2. I wouldn't play DVDs in the front anyway....So have about 20-30 movies copied from DVD to iTunes on the iPod classic. The iPod classic sits in the arm rest and we can play any movie while on the go since we also have the enable everything mod.

My wife's favorite mod that I've done is to be able to watch movies form the iPod using the RCA and enable everything mod. It makes night and even day trips pass by so fast watching recent movies you've copied over from DVD.
