Any suggestions ,3000k or 6000k for my fog lights

the good HIDs are just plug and play....so you may not even have to drop the bumper (which isn't all that hard to begin with) If you are comfortable going through the engine bay and up underneath the bumper then you should be fine

When I change out the fog light bulbs, it was a very very tight fit. my hands could barely fit inside. even though the HID kit are plug and play, don't they come with ballast and all that? from what I see online consist of at least 2-3 component that needs to be mounted somewhere. has anybody done this without dropping the bumper? do I need to jack up the car to remove the bumper?

some have removed the wheel liner and/or the belly liner and reached in.

I took off my bumper and made the job so much easier. you do not need to jack up the car to do this.

I know you have a 09, but there still just 1 piece you need to mount (ballast).
