I dont like 8000K , it looks nice and blue but not bright enough for me . So i have 2 options 3000k or 6000k. I know 3000k is yelowish and gives more light output but 6000K looks great too. I just put 6000K on my X5 and liked it. Any pics or suggestions welcome.... Thanks..

^ is that HID fogs?

If you are going to go yellow, go for 2500k thats a pure yellow, 3000k is going to look very stockish.

I had the 2500k fog for a while, it looks nice BUUUUUUUUUTTTTTT
I now have 6000k LED fogs so yea. lol

thanks to all for you quick replies

thanks to all for you quick replies, I mean HID fogs, i dont like led ones.

I've seen my stock fogs next to another members fx with 6000k fogs and the 6000 looked much better. I want to switch over my headlights and fogs to 6k soon.

i say go with the 3000, but i'm a little biased. hehehe. I always thought 6000 headights and foglights were a little overkill, but after seeing stu's, i thought they looked really good. either way, you cant go wrong.

man looking at all yall HID fogs make me want some HID. the LED ones i have have the perfect color but its so dim.

Anyone DIY install hid on 2nd gen yet? how hard is it to drop the bumper

the good HIDs are just plug and play....so you may not even have to drop the bumper (which isn't all that hard to begin with) If you are comfortable going through the engine bay and up underneath the bumper then you should be fine

I have a problem with my driver side foglight

The metal piece that covers the 9006 halogen bulb inside is loose. Does anyone know how to tight that metal piece inside the fog light? fx35s 03-05 has that metal piece inside the fog.. Or should i change the whole thing,??
