this may or may not help, but when i got my axis wheels the owner referred me to inland wheels for redrilling and that they send work over there. any other forums or reviews online? i end up going somewhere else due to distance but was able to speak with a few reps over there and they seemed professional.
That's the problem, I've searched everywhere online and there just isn't much info. The only rep I've spoken to is Steve Karayan, and he sounds very knowledgeable and professional. So my concern isn't with the reps or knowledge so much, as their return policy.
They've verbally told me they guarantee fitment, since they ensure the wheels / offsets they sell will fit the vehicle. But their website says their official return policy is that all returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee, no exceptions, and the buyer has to pay return shipping. It also says absolutely no returns if you mount tires on the wheels, or once the wheels are mounted on a vehicle. Since they ship the wheels with tires already on them, that would mean even if they ship the wrong wheels I couldn't return them. Also, there's no way to verify they fit unless I mount them on my vehicle, which also voids the ability to return if they don't fit.
So my concern is what if the wheels they ship are different then what I ordered (wrong model, size or color), or if the wheels they guaranteed would fit don't fit. I'm curious if they're easy to work with and whether they will take care of things like that. Or if they are sticklers and follow their online policy to a T, meaning even instances where it is their error they dont' want to fix the situation.

I didn't buy wheels there but I had one of my wheels straightened there. They have a wheel straightening machine and did a good job on the wheel however service left allot to be desired. I live up in Big Bear so I'm about an hours drive from there.
I called them on a Friday and was told that someone would be there untill 6pm. I got there at 5:45 and they were closed (trip wasted). They don't have a Road Force Balance Machine so I wanted to take them to another shop after they finished straightening my wheel. So I called Inland Wheel on Saturday morning and asked how long it would take and was told only a couple of hours. So I get there and then I'm told that the guy who does the wheel repair is off and they won't be able to get my wheel done untill Monday or Tuesday (another day off work).
They did good work it just took 3 trips.
Thanks for the feedback! I've read similar things online, where someone had issues with their service when getting their wheels repaired. This is slightly different however then buying brand new wheels from them, and how willing they are to work with their customers to make sure things are right. There isn't much online about people buying wheels from them new and how they handle shipping or fittment errors, which makes me a little nervous.
Thanks for the post!
