So unpacking some things in the house, I found an APEXi OCC that I bought off a local member when he was parting his FX about a year ago. I went through numerous threads here, discussing how OCC works and if they are useful. There are a lot of pictures of OCCs installed, however, I could never get a clear understanding where do the hoses go. So, if anyone has one installed on Gen 1 FX35, i would appreciate if you could upload couple pictures where both hoses are connected on the engine. Much appreciated :good:

This is just the single one on the left side right? One inlet, one outlet? I know Jumbo had a thread with good pictures of all the inlets and outlets on the engine.

Well crap, here's his thread, but most of the pictures are broken. See if the leftover ones don't work for you. https://www.infinitiscene.com/searc...CC-thread-aka-Oil-Catch-Can-Oil-Air-separator

If you just have a regular catch can with one inlet and outlet, then it's pretty basic. Just remove the PCV hose which connects from the valve cover to the intake manifold and plug it in there so one hose goes from catch can to valve cover and other hose goes out of catch can to IM. I routed mine that way and it works fine. IM is the vacuum source and the oil that was going there is now getting caught by the catch can.
