Another Exhaust inquirery...invidia

hey john it came off A G35 coupe. I thought our wheel base was the same as the coupe..
I hope it does work. If you find out anything for sure let me know. I just made contact with the owner and he's willing.
 
yeah, the wheelbase is the same, meaning no Y or X pipe extension... this is the problem, the exhaust should bolt right up all the way to the tips, which would need to be extended only, but the actual X part of the pipe on the G is right behind the tailshaft of the tranny, which is exactly where your transfer case will be, meaning it won't fit... I haven't actually tried this myself, but looking at those pictures it seems pretty obvious that the x pipe will sit where the transfer case is...
 
Ok, so would extending back the y section, cause me to cut else where? Are would I just be causing other issues. I mean if it gonna cost me two hundred more I'd be better off getting the invidia at that cost. Or at worst purchase and sell to a RWD FX huh? Dam I love the stillen sound.
