A car show I believe!
^It's Sunday in Schaumburg and Saturday in Naperville/Wodridge as far as I know.

I vote to keep our kilt meeting in naperthrill. I want a car show environment with an option for pics with the tilt girls!
Hotel booked and confirmed. Ready to leave tomorrow!

Mostly domestic I think. Found this post from august show.
" There were like 10 cars, 3 girls walked around once... most of the time there were none... honestly a waste of 4 hours.
Most people were leaving a couple hours in, I thought hey.. maybe a decent chance I told pick up a "trophy" since they said they handed out so many and I easily had one of the best looking cars there and was there at start time. I know GTO's aren't anything special, but compared to the others around it was looking good!
By the end of the trophy handout... I really had no chance as they only handed out "Domestic" awards to older cars. American Muscle (Chevelle and a old school mustang that showed up minutes before handing them out), Import (a cool WRX), Convertible (which there was only 1, a '86 vette) and pre '75 American (a Caprice) then bike stuff. O yea dude's evo won people's choice which is what I voted for."

Other than meeting some nice folks and "talking cars" on a beautiful
Saturday, the show was pretty disappointing.
The organizer chose all awards (other than best of show, which were
picked by participants). My Mother-In-Law could have done a better job!
If you were a 20 something in a rice burner, you were a winner!

"7:00am-9:00am Photoshoot (Downtown Chicago Planetarium - Please arrive by 7am. We are leaving exactly at 7:15am to do Lake Shore Drive rolling shots, stopping at a Lake up north, Michigan Ave, Wacker drive, etc doing shots all over. Driving time 30 minutes from start to finish, which leaves 1.5 hours of switching cars, taking still shots, etc)"

Glad you had a safe trip Jonas. Meeting at the planetarium? So we are attempting lake shore shots? In the scenario it is busy do we have a backup plan by chance?
Hopefully it won't be, it seems early enough on a Saturday but you never know.
Jonas- I only have one battery on my camera, what you think that will last for? Or does anyone have an outlet adapter for their car? I am sure I could find a spot in the restaurant to charge if need be.

I have a power inverter in my car if you need to charge your battery
I've done multiple shoots and still had over half battery left so battery will be least of your worries I think. It's when u use flash on your camera I notice that really starts draining it.
I'm not sure of anything yet because things can drastically change depending on # of cars and if we can get an extra person.
What I'm wondering is if 7:30 will be early enough where we can go on wacker drive first to take some shots in the middle of the road or on the bridge? We may want to meet instead at 6:45 and leave by 7am instead of leaving by 7:15.
