Meet looks like fun. We used to be able to get that many together back in the day. Memories
 
ah gotcha....I didn't realize flares were a disliked thing....I was trying to get them in! lol Live and learn. ha

There is no way to remove the star effect post process. That's what you get when you get hella strong HID fogs. lol It's the type of light too.

The only way I can think of in reducing it for a do over is under exposing the image during the shoot and increasing the exposure during post process. This and the other images I took they were all metered accurately so underexposing is something you wouldn't really want to do unless you are okay with losing quality in order to get less of a star affect.

These photos is black and white look amazing too.
