I was going to order some H&R 25mm spacers (mostly cause I wasnted the DRM type and I don't think DRM comes smaller), has anyone had any issues with rubbing with 22" wheels and a drop?
My rear tires rubbed the first day I had 22" put on. I already knew I needed to dremel the fenders but was trying to wait 2 day until the weekend. My 22"s are 22x9 +15, lowered on Eibach springs at the time.
So they stopped rubbing? And what if your riding rear passengers? I'm about ready to order the H&Rs but just making sure I have no issues, my 22's are already sitting pretty flush.
Never has an issue with rubbing after cutting out the fenders. There is 2 pieces of metal that meet and are welded together in the fender. I went through 4 dremel bits to get the fenders cut enough but not as much as i'd like.
Its much easier if you have air tools----->Trimming Rear Wheel Wells - InfinitiScene.com
You won't rub if your offset is not too aggressive and your wheel width and tire combination is on the safe side. There are alot of combination that will be safe, but we need to know what spec wheels and tire specs you are trying to go with.
