Amusing story..to me anyways..

I go to visit my daughter on sunday,and my ex-wife is in her driveway cleaning her new 09 FORD Escape,as soon as i get out she says to me why are you parking that THING in my driveway? Now let me set this up real quick..she and i seperated yrs ago but remain great friends,i could ask her to do anything for me and she would do it ,and no i am not still hitting it..lol..anyways she and her new boyfriend both work for ford and when i told her the vehicle i really wanted more than any other (an FX) we got into it HUGE!!..i am would be hurting the auto industry according to her and blah blah blah,buy "local" and all this other stuff,so i told her that her UNION may tell ford what to do with their money but they aint gonna tell me what to do with mine..by the way i have just came from a ford explorer,owned a Lincoln LS,and another explorer previously.....anyways back to the story..she shows me all the gadgets on her escape and then goes looks at my car and gives me this face like she's sucked on a lemon,"brown interior?" i said its called brick actually...and i tossed her the keys,she gets in looks around for a bit,then fired the engine,immediately a big freakin grin came on her face(the sound of that V6 will do that to ya..if i had a NISMO exhaust i think she woulda ruined my leather seats..lol),i told her to take it out on the highway and punch it,she took off, and when she did i hopped in her escape(V6) and started it and gave the same impression she gave when she looked in my car,UUGGHH!! (yeah...not even close)..shut it off and waited for her to come back,25 minutes later she comes back gets out walks toward me and she is trying soooooo hard not to smile that its killing her,tosses my keys to me and i say well???..out comes the biggest smiles and she says "its a lot better than i thought it would be,it rides really nice" then she says the power really jumps out at you when ya push it eh? and you can see it in her face that she loved it..then she walks off and says "not bad for foreign crap!!"...we had another "discussion" about her Escape that is made from 70% foreign parts after that LOL...point is no matter how she feels about it..she freakin LOVED the ride!! lol
