Aluminum Foot Rest Pedal is Missing?

The OEM ones aren't much to look at either. I got the deluxe touring package for the wheels and climate controlled seats, primarily.

I don't know what you mean by this, but the aluminum pedals that come on the car are in no way an eye sore. I hate those cheap black rubber ones you get when you don't have the aluminum pedals. Cheapens the look of the FX IMO. Aluminum pedals look nice and sporty looking.

But to each their own.....
 
No, they aren't an eye sore. But they don't really look fantastic either. Compared to the rubber crap in most cars, yes, I'd agree that they are an improvement.

Yeah and it's that rubber crap i have in mine UGH :sad.: !!!! I guess i'd lean more towards OEM ...... guess i can call the Part's Dept and get the number and have it installed ?
 
I would imagine so, but I would also be surprised if it's not some ridiculous cost. I'd guess $300? I am assuming you'd need both pedal assemblies.
 
I've recently installed this and it just replaces the plastic. Make sure to keep the metal clips to keep it in place.

So you mean we can install the left foot rest instead of the plastic one? Really? OMG, I am reaching for my c card now...
 
Mine came with the aluminum one I have an 09 base model and also I live in canada if that makes a difference?

Yes, it seems that the latter models do not benefit from that. I ordered the part this morning to solve that inconsistency (or cost cutting measure) from Infiniti.
 
Ok, ordered, got the part and installed it. Watch out some damage might ensue as I had 2 metal clips that were glued to the plastic footrest so I had to cut some plastic and installing the metal footrest. Great result with the high polished knobs and the carbon fiber imitation door panel (to replace the wood trim on the door panel).
