Hey guys.
I want to install a GPS that outputs to the dash monitor.
I want to use the Alpine NVE-M300.
Does anyone have any experience in installing this?
If anyone has instructions or tips, please share.
I would love it if anyone can post pictures of the inside behind the center console.
Thanks guys.

Oooooops.
I think that the NVE-M300 is an addon. Is this true??

Maybe the Garmin GVN53 instead.

I'm not fimiliar with that unit. I just installed the Kenwood KVT719 with Nav and bluetooth for phone use as well. I think Doc, and Viet may both have an Alpine units installed in there rides. what exactly are you trying to do? install the head unit and control module? that is pretty straight forward.

is the apline unit you have a single or double din unit? for a single din unit pulling the dash is easy as well everything pops out farely easy. clock location should be first, followed by lower console. make a cut out at the clock location and start from there. if you are doing a double din unit in the factory monitor location that will require a lil more effort because you'll have to relocate the factory unit etc...

No i don't want any deck to be added to the dash.
I want to add a unit/device under the passenger's feet, so that it connects to the screen built in.

Hey Rookie, I'm new I just joined the IS forum and was wondering could you help me out on how you installed the single din in the place of your clock. Is a DIY project or did you have to take it to a shop. Also I was considering putting the new Pioneer avh-x7700bt in the place of the clock. Looking owards your feedback.
