Alpine Multimedia system

D310 is still down where the clock was. I've played around with pretending the nav controls were running off of the 505 and I don't like reaching that high to mess with the nav.

So right now I can send stuff to and from each other, both headrest monitors have an input from both headunits. And both headunits are dual zone. lol

505 can play mp3, view video from D310 and send it's own dvd to the rear or the D310 and vice versa. video from the ipod is cool too.

that is sexy. i remember reading something a while back about someone who did a double din in the stock spot and had to heat and reform the heating ducts back there. did you have to do any modding like this, or did it just fit right in?

The display up top is my eq control. Its all controllable from my the headunit but this one is easier to switch presets and his has frequency display so I get blinky lights.

The oem radio bezel was modded so it has a sort of hood. The 505 is fairly deep so the ducts had to be reformed a little. It didn't take much reforming, had to cut off a little metal brace thing they have back there too. Nothing crazy.

I had done a prefit using my spare dash board (didn't have my fx at the time) once I got my FX back the space was tight.

Rookie, i thought you had an pre 05 version of the FX but i see you have the up '05 cargo cover rack in this picture.

I'm having a hard time getting this mod right on my FX. Mine is 03 but i received an up '05 cargo cover unit.
Now i wanted to change my sidepanels to the newer version so it 'll fit my car.
Yesterday Joe from infinitiparts mailed me that the package was way bigger then expected for shipment. I thought that the newer panels wich i needed was out of one piece, but now i see that you have also got the new panel but just the black plastic part as well wich i need and not a whole new panel that runs downworths as well.

Or is it one piece and does the clothing run over it.

If you did this mod please lett me know asap as i'm shipping far to big parts then needed.

Mine is an 05 so the panels came like that. Having taken the rear panels in and out a few times those pieces are rather big. Not heavy at all but odd shaped and large. They go from the rear to the wheel arch and clip into the rear door weather stripping.
