Alignment?? need advice asap...

so I had a coupon for a free front end alignment, only thing was it was at a Chrysler dealership, I figured what the heck and alignments and alignemnt.. come to find out they couldn't perform alignemnt due to this statement: "Vehicles equipped with the following systems require and OEM scan tool or WinAligh Codeling (if applicable) and special tools/procedures after wheel alignment: Elecronic stability control systems such as VDC (which mine has)"
anyone else run into this?? Can dealers other than Infiniti perform the job? a friend of mine is a ASE Tech at Ford and I am thinking of bringing it to him but he isn't sure either...

I'd try calling some shops that specialize in doing allignments in your area.

Not sure how true this is, but i heard that Nissan Dealerships actually charge less then Infiniti Dealerships on alignments. Something u might want to look into. i recently replaced my steering rack and tires and going to call the local Nissan Dealership to see if they can do the alignment.

Nissan usually charges less for certain things- however some Nissan dealerships don't have the equipment to align vehicles with 20" wheels.
