My mom has a QX56 and the other day I pressed the unlock keys on mine and hers at the same time, and neither of them did absolutley anything!
Astounding, I know. Just thought I'd share.
 
the other night we were coming back from home depot, and we're walking towards my girlfriends altima coupe. i pull out my remote and try all the buttons. and NOTHING HAPPENED! you believe that?
 
dude he was just trying to tell us somethign that happened no need to be rude and infer that he's an idiot or something. we're all family here.

maybe it has something to do with the signals crossing or something
