Hi, Can someone help me confirm that I don’t or do need brackets to run this setup on my 2009 FX35. The dealership where I bought the calipers said they will bolt right on. Stoptech said they would and I see kits for sale that say they do. Then I see other owners saying they won’t. I would like to tear down my car this week and knock it out if it is just a bolt on and only have to cut the dust shield/backing plates. Don’t want to take the car apart is I really do need more parts.

Yes, Akebonos made for the FX50 will bolt directly on. However, you will need new brake lines, specifically the banjo bolts from the lines to the calipers.

Thank you for the info. I was buying a ss line kit for an fx50 off of eBay and the seller refunded me my money because all these sites that selll this kit says you can you your stock lines. He wanted me to buy lines for my fx35 not a fx50s. So has off right now I have no lines and no brake hardware. Any suggestions where I might get the correct parts. Or what to ask for so it correct.

You can use stock rubber lines. I am running them on the front of mine. I bought the SS lines from Stop tech but couldn't get the fronts to fit correctly...I think they are made for a 1st gen. The rear SS lines fit with no problem.
You will have to get shorter banjo bolts. I got mine from from Search - Concept Z Performance

on my '12 I had to cut eh rear as well as the front dust shields. Some say the fronts might not be necessary to cut but mine were....other than those things its a direct swap

Only need to figure out what brake pads I want to run. I just order some all chrome custom Asanti wheels and want to try and keep them clean, but I am also putting in a supercharger so need this bad boy to stop. Has anyone tried this SS brake lines?

Thanks I ordered the the Bango bolts and the SS brake line kit from concept Z bango boots showed up just waiting on there lines. They should be here by Wednesday. Hope they fit. They sold me the techna-fit lines

I think these are the same Banjo Bolts needed for the FX50 BBK Retrofit on a 1st Gen?
