Airbag off passenger is on even nothing on a seat.Help !!!!!

Looks like the mod is not working right for 2010 navs but fine with 2009 navs because Aaron did the mod and works fine. I was planning on doing it too but using the kgg

Well it did work. It does what it should do. But....it has consequences.
So better not to do it,unless you really need it. :tongue (2):
 
i noticed this today when my lil brother sat in the passenger seat. he is about 90lbs, had his seat belt on and the "passenger air bag off" light was on. weird. I did not do any of the AUX mods. never cut/splice any wires.

Thats pretty normal.
Something too light and it triggers the pass airbag off light. When my ex girlfriend use to sit in it and she was like 95 pounds 5'3 it would come on all the time. It also happens if you set something too light in it. I forget where I've seen it but somewhere in the factory repair manual it states that it does it because if your too small and the airbag goes off it can seriously injure or kill you. It also does it to prevent the airbag from accidentally deploying in an accident for no reason like if you have bags or items in the seat.
